Media Manager

The Media Manager allows administrators to browse, upload, preview, copy, rename, delete, compress, and manage media files and folders used by the website.

Use this page to organize website images, documents, downloads, banners, product media, and other public assets stored under the media directory.

Important Notes

  • Uploaded files are stored on the server, so file names should be clear and safe.
  • Avoid special characters in file and folder names when possible.
  • Do not delete files that are currently used by pages, banners, products, or templates.
  • Large files may take longer to upload depending on the server configuration.
  • If an uploaded file does not appear immediately, click Refresh.

Recommended File Naming Rules

For better compatibility and easier maintenance, use simple file names.

Recommended:

product-image-001.webp
company-brochure.pdf

Avoid:
Main Banner Final Version (New)!!.jpg
상품 이미지 최종본###.png
file name with many spaces.pdf

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Files are not displayed The wrong folder may be selected, or the list has not refreshed. Select the correct folder and click Refresh.
Upload fails The file may be too large, blocked by extension rules, or the server may not allow writing. Check file size, extension, and folder permissions.
Image does not load on the website The copied path may be incorrect or the file may have been moved. Copy the file URL again and update the page content.
Cannot rename or delete The server may not have permission to modify the file or folder. Check IIS and folder write permissions.

Best Practices

  • Create separate folders for different media types.
  • Use lowercase English file names when possible.
  • Compress large images before uploading them.
  • Keep backup copies before deleting important files.
  • Use clear folder names such as banner, product, download, and document.
Media files are often used by many pages. Before deleting or renaming a file, confirm that it is not currently used anywhere on the website.
