Recommended:

3. Preview the website.
4. Confirm page layout, images, CSS, and JavaScript.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Theme does not appear in Core Settings | The theme may not have been downloaded correctly. | Download the theme again and confirm that the theme folder exists. |
| Theme preview image is missing | The preview image may be missing from the theme package. | Check the theme image path and package contents. |
| Website layout is broken after update | Customized theme files may have been overwritten. | Restore from backup or compare the updated files with your previous version. |
| Delete button fails | The server may not have permission to remove theme files. | Check folder permissions and IIS write/delete access. |
| CSS or JavaScript does not load | Theme file paths may be incorrect or missing. | Check browser developer tools and confirm file paths. |
Best Practices
- Use themes as a starting point, then customize carefully.
- Do not directly modify downloaded theme files without keeping a backup.
- Use clear version notes when customizing a theme.
- Preview the theme on desktop and mobile screens.
- Keep only actively used themes installed when possible.
- Do not delete the currently active theme.
Themes affect the entire visual experience of the site. Always back up, test, and preview before updating or deleting a theme.
