Recurring Billing
The Recurring Billing page allows administrators to view recurring subscription information retrieved from the payment provider.
Recurring subscription setup must be done directly on the payment provider site. This page does not create or configure recurring subscriptions. It only retrieves and displays existing recurring subscription information from the payment provider.
Important Notice
The Recurring Billing page is an information and monitoring screen. It is not the place where recurring billing plans are created, edited, or configured.

| Cancel recurring subscription | Payment provider site |

History
The History button opens the payment history for the selected recurring subscription. Use this function to review previous recurring payment attempts, successful payments, failed payments, or provider-side payment responses when available.
The available history depends on the payment provider response and the data synchronized into iBoard.
Sync
The Sync button retrieves the latest recurring subscription information from the payment provider. This is useful when new subscriptions were created or updated on the provider site and you want to display the latest information in iBoard.
When to Use Sync
- After creating a recurring subscription on the payment provider site.
- After changing a recurring plan on the payment provider site.
- After canceling or updating a subscription on the payment provider site.
- When the iBoard list does not show the latest provider information.
Mapping
The Mapping function is used to connect provider subscription data with iBoard customer or billing data when needed.
Since recurring subscriptions are created on the provider side, mapping may be needed to match provider customer tokens or subscription IDs with iBoard customer records.
Recommended Workflow
- Create or manage the recurring subscription on the payment provider site.
- Open Admin > Billing > Recurring in iBoard.
- Select the provider. Currently, use Authorize.Net.
- Click Sync to retrieve the latest subscription data.
- Use the search filters to find the target subscription.
- Review the subscription status, plan, amount, customer, and address information.
- Click History to review related payment history.
- Use Mapping if provider data needs to be connected to iBoard customer data.

- Provider-side changes may not appear in iBoard until synchronization is performed.
- Do not treat this screen as the source for creating or modifying recurring plans.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No subscriptions are displayed | The provider may not have recurring subscriptions, or the data has not been synchronized. | Confirm subscriptions exist on the provider site, then click Sync. |
| Provider option is limited | Only Authorize.Net is currently supported for recurring subscription retrieval. | Use Authorize.Net for this screen until additional provider support is added. |
| Subscription information is outdated | The subscription may have been changed on the provider site after the last synchronization. | Click Sync to refresh the data. |
| Customer information is not matched | The provider subscription may not be mapped to an iBoard customer record. | Use Mapping to connect provider data with iBoard customer data. |
| Cannot edit subscription details | This page is view-only for recurring subscription setup. | Edit the subscription directly on the payment provider site. |
Best Practices
- Create and manage recurring plans directly on the payment provider site.
- Use iBoard Recurring Billing to monitor and review subscription information.
