Product Management
Product Management allows administrators to create, edit, delete, search, filter, and manage products in the iShop storefront. This screen controls core product information, category assignment, SKU, price, inventory, visibility, images, SEO, product options, and variants.
Products are the main sales items in iShop. A product should be created with clear product information, proper category assignment, pricing, inventory settings, images, SEO values, and variant options when needed.
Overview
The Product Management screen includes a product list and a product editor. The product list is used to search and manage existing products, while the product editor is used to create or update product information.

Product List
The Product List screen displays products registered in the system. Administrators can search products by product name or product code, filter by category, status, visibility, and page size.

Search and Filters
The filter area helps administrators find products quickly.
Search by product name or code
Use the search field to find products by name, SKU, or product code.

Category Filter
Use the category dropdown to view products assigned to a specific category.
Status Filter
Use the status dropdown to filter products by product status, such as Draft, Active, or other configured statuses.
Visibility Filter
Use the visibility dropdown to view products that are visible or hidden on the storefront.
Page Size
Select how many products should be displayed in the list at once.
Apply Button
Click Apply after selecting search or filter options.
Create a New Product
Click New Product to create a product.
- Open Admin > iShop > Product.
- Click New Product.
- Select a category.
- Generate or enter a product code.
- Enter the product name.
- Enter brand, vendor, product type, barcode, and tags if needed.
- Enter a short description or detail HTML content.
- Configure price, status, tax, stock, and visibility.
- Upload product images.
- Configure SEO and URL settings.
- Create variants if the product has size, color, or other options.
- Click Save.
Basic Information
Basic Information contains the core product data used throughout the storefront.

| Vendor / Supplier | The vendor or supplier connected to the product. |
| Product Type | A classification value separate from the category. |
| Barcode | UPC, EAN, GTIN, or another barcode value. |
| Tags | Keywords used to classify or search the product. |
Product Code (SKU)
SKU is a unique product code used to identify the product internally. You may enter it manually or click Auto Generate.
Use consistent SKU rules. A good SKU makes inventory, order processing, and product searching easier.
Product Name
Enter a clear product name that customers can recognize easily.

Manage Attributes
Attributes can be configured after saving the product. Product attributes are used to display structured specifications on the product detail page.
Description
The product editor may provide two description modes:

| Detail HTML | Used for detailed product content on the product detail page. |
The short description should summarize the product quickly. The detail HTML can contain richer product information, images, specifications, and marketing content.
Sales Settings
Sales Settings control product price, sales status, stock, tax, shipping, and storefront visibility.

| Taxable | Controls whether the product is taxable. |
| Track Inventory | Enables stock quantity tracking. |
| Continue selling when out of stock | Allows orders even when stock quantity is zero. |
| Stock Quantity | The current available stock quantity. |
| Visible | Controls whether the product is displayed on the storefront. |
Shipping / Tax
Shipping and tax settings define basic product-level shipping weight and tax behavior. If product variants exist, variant weight, barcode, and pricing may take priority depending on system configuration.
Only lightweight default shipping and tax values are collected first. Variant weight, barcode, and price in the variant table may take priority.
Inventory Settings
Inventory settings determine how product stock is managed.
- Track Inventory: Enables stock tracking for the product.
- Continue selling when out of stock: Allows backorder or preorder behavior when stock is zero.
- Stock Quantity: Sets the available stock amount.
If the product has variants, inventory is usually tracked per variant. Adjust SKU, price, and stock for each variant combination in the variant table.
Product Images
Product images are used in product lists, product cards, product detail pages, and storefront promotions.
Main Image
The main image is the primary product image. It can usually be uploaded by dragging and dropping an image file or clicking the upload area.
Recommended formats include JPG, PNG, and WebP.
Detail Images
Detail Images allow multiple additional images to be uploaded. After upload, images can be inserted into the product detail content or deleted if no longer needed.
- Click Multi Upload or drag images into the upload area.
- Upload multiple product detail images.
- Use Insert to insert images into product detail content.
- Delete unused detail images if necessary.
SEO / URL
SEO / URL settings control the product slug, SEO title, SEO description, and Google preview.
Slug
The slug is generated automatically and can be edited if needed. Lowercase English letters and hyphens are recommended.

Slug History
Slug History is automatically saved when the product slug changes. This helps preserve redirect history and SEO value.
SEO Title
SEO Title is the title shown in search results. A recommended length is about 50 to 60 characters.
SEO Description
SEO Description is the summary shown in search results. A recommended length is about 120 to 160 characters.
Google Preview
Google Preview shows an example of how the product may appear in search results.
Options / Variants
Options and variants are used when one product has multiple choices such as size, color, material, length, or style.
Option Fields
Each option has a name and values. Values can be entered using commas or line breaks.
Option 1:
Name: Size
Values: S, M, L, XL
Option 2:
Name: Color
Values: Black, Navy, Beige
Build Combinations
Click Build Combinations to generate variant rows from the option values. Each combination can have its own SKU, sale price, list price, stock, visibility, barcode, or other variant-level settings.
When variants exist, inventory is usually managed per variant. Review SKU, price, and stock for every generated combination before publishing the product.
Apply Base Price
Use Apply Base Price to apply the base product price to generated variants when needed.
Reset
Use Reset to clear current option or variant values when rebuilding combinations.

Recommended Workflow
- Create or confirm the product category.
- Open Admin > iShop > Product.
- Click New Product.
- Select a category.
- Generate or enter SKU.
- Enter product name and basic information.
- Enter short description and detail content.
- Configure sales settings, price, tax, and inventory.
- Upload main image and detail images.
- Configure SEO title, description, and slug.
- Create variants if needed.
- Save the product.
- Click View Front and confirm the storefront result.

Important Notes
- A product should have a clear name, SKU, category, price, and visibility setting.
- Attributes can usually be configured after the product is saved.
- If variants exist, variant-level price and stock may override base product settings.
- Changing a product slug may affect existing product URLs.
- Images should be optimized before upload.
- Always test the product page after changing price, variants, inventory, images, or SEO.
